How Zyctra Interview Practice Works: Questions, Scores and Your Final Report
By Zyctra Team · · 5 min read
Practising out loud, against a tough interviewer, is the fastest way to get better at interviews. Zyctra Interview Practice is built to feel like the real thing — and to tell you honestly how you did.
1. Choose your interview
Open Interview Practice and pick three things:
- The type: job interview, technical, behavioural (STAR), career guidance or licensure exam.
- Your profession: nursing, medicine, software, engineering, law, education, business, skilled trades and more.
- The difficulty: Easy has 5 questions, Medium has 7 and Hard has 10.
Then choose Start Interview to type your answers, or Voice Mode to speak them.
2. The interview itself
Your interviewer opens by telling you how many questions there are and how you will be scored. Questions come one at a time, numbered — "Question 3 of 7" — so you always know where you are. There are no hints: the questions are the kind real interviewers ask for your role and level.
3. A score after every answer
After each answer you get a score out of 10 and two to four sentences of feedback: what worked, what was missing, and what a strong answer would have included. A vague answer is marked down; a specific, well-structured one is rewarded. It is honest by design — that is what makes the practice useful.
4. Your final report
When the last question is answered, you receive a final report:
- Your overall score out of 10, and how many questions you answered
- A result — for a job interview, from "Strong hire" to "Not ready yet"; for a licensure exam, how ready you are
- The score for every question, on one line
- Your strengths and the most important things to improve, each with a concrete tip
- A model answer for the question you found hardest
Need to stop early? Say "end interview" at any time and you get the report for the questions you answered.
5. Voice interviews are saved too
In Voice Mode the interviewer speaks each question and listens to your answer. When the interview ends, the whole conversation — questions, answers, scores and the report — is saved in your History as "Voice interview", so you can read it again before the real day.
How to get the most out of it
- Start on Easy to warm up, then repeat the same role on Medium and Hard.
- Read the model answer, then try the same question again in a new interview.
- Use Voice Mode a few days before a real interview — speaking is harder than typing, and that is the point.
Each answer uses one message from your plan. Ready? Start a practice interview.
